AC Wallbox Chargers

Yes, all three describe the same product. The AC charger mounted on a wall to charge your electric car at home is called a home charging station, a wall-mounted charger or a wallbox. Bemis's Charger 2, Charger Plus 2 and Charger Pro 2 models belong to this group; installation is carried out by a licensed electrician.

Bemis AC wallbox chargers are wall-mounted in both homes and workplaces. In a detached house or villa, a supply line drawn directly from the main circuit breaker is sufficient. In an apartment building you need the building management's approval and an installation plan connected to a shared meter. Installation is carried out by a licensed electrician in line with the Bemis Installation Procedures; our authorised dealer helps you choose the right model.

7 kW works on a single-phase connection and is enough for overnight charging; it fully charges a typical EV in 6-8 hours. 11 kW and 22 kW require a three-phase connection; with 22 kW the same vehicle is full within 2-3 hours. If your vehicle's AC charging acceptance is 11 kW, buying a 22 kW unit adds no extra speed; check your vehicle manual before purchasing.

Yes. All electric vehicles sold in the European market (including Tesla Model 3/Y), Chinese-made BYD and MG models, and Korean and Japanese EVs use the IEC 62196-2 (Type 2) standard on the AC side. Our Bemis wallbox chargers follow this standard; no additional adapter is required.

When other devices on the same grid line draw high power (air conditioner, oven, heat pump), the wallbox automatically reduces its charging power and prevents the breaker from tripping. In multi-wallbox installations it shares the total available power evenly between the units. It is a critical feature that improves safety and reduces infrastructure cost.

In both, the first digit 6 means the unit is completely sealed against dust; the second digit is water resistance: IP65 protects against water jets from any direction, IP66 against stronger water jets. The Charger 2 and Charger Pro 2 with a display are IP65 and the Charger Plus 2 with LED indicators is IP66; they do not need an additional protective cabinet in open car parks, balconies or outdoor installations.

Installation is not included in the price of the unit. Installation and commissioning are the buyer's responsibility: a licensed electrician carries out the cable routing, wiring and distribution board work in line with the Bemis Installation Procedures. The installation cost depends on your existing infrastructure and is clarified in your electrician's site survey; our authorised dealer can refer you to a licensed electrician.

A wallbox is a wall-mounted AC charger for electric vehicles. A domestic socket delivers at most 2.3 kW and is not designed for hours at full load; a wallbox on its own circuit delivers 7.4–22 kW, communicates with the car (IEC 61851) and provides residual-current and overcurrent protection. The result is 3–10 times faster, safer charging.

Power (7.4 / 11 / 22 kW), output type (5 m cable or socket), smart options (OCPP, GSM module, MID meter) and the installation work (cable run, breaker and distribution-board work). Installation is not included in the device price; you receive a separate installation quote from your licensed electrician after a site survey.

Check the car's AC acceptance rate first: most EVs accept 11 kW, some are limited to 7.4 kW and only a few accept 22 kW. For one car parked overnight, 11 kW is more than enough; 22 kW makes sense for fast daytime top-ups or several cars in a row. Charger Plus 2 and Charger Pro 2 are adjustable between 4 and 22 kW, so you will not need a new device when you change car.

22 kW needs a 3×32 A three-phase supply, 11 kW a 3×16 A three-phase supply and 7.4 kW a 32 A single-phase supply; residual-current protection is required in every case. The cable cross-section depends on the distance from the distribution board and is determined by a qualified electrician.

Yes. You need the building management's approval and a metering plan (your own meter or a shared supply). For shared use, MID meter models separate consumption with certified metering, and RFID plus OCPP report who charged how much.

AC Mobile Chargers

Yes, they all describe the same product group. Terms such as portable charger, mobile charger, travel charger or portable charging unit are used interchangeably for these devices. Bemis's Mini Mobile, Mono Mobile and Pro Mobile 2 models belong to this group: you charge your electric car from an existing socket without a fixed installation or any electrical wiring work.

Yes. Our Bemis Mobile Charger products work with both a standard 16A single-phase socket and 32A industrial CEE sockets. Pro models deliver up to 22 kW from a three-phase 32A socket; Mini models are suited to household sockets at 2.3-3.7 kW.

Mini Mobile: 2.3-3.7 kW single-phase, compact size, ideal for home and travel. Pro Mobile 2: 3.7-22 kW three-phase, for professional and fleet use. On the Pro Mobile 2 the charging current is set in six steps (6/10/16/20/25/32 A) from the mobile app or the button on the unit, so charging can continue at a lower current on weak installations.

The IP66 (Mini Mobile, Mono Mobile) and IP65 (Pro Mobile 2) protection classes are suitable for use in the rain, but the product must not be submerged. After the housing gets wet, wipe it with a dry cloth before plugging it in. In case of flooding, do not operate the unit before taking it to an authorised service centre.

Yes, portable chargers are designed for exactly this purpose. In hotels, campsites, holiday resorts and other places without a DC/AC charging point, you charge from the existing sockets. It comes with a carrying bag and is stored and transported in it.

If you park your vehicle in the same place every day, a fixed wallbox is faster, safer and more economical in the long run. If you travel frequently or move between several locations, a mobile charger is the more flexible solution. Having both is also a common choice.

There are three power classes: Mini Mobile 2.3–3.7 kW (single phase, 10–16 A) for household Schuko sockets; Mono Mobile 3.7–7.4 kW (single phase, 16–32 A), the practical ceiling of a single-phase installation; Pro Mobile 2 3.7–22 kW (three phase, 6–32 A in six steps) for professional and fleet use. Charging speed is set by your car's onboard AC charger, not by the device: if your car is limited to 7.4 kW, a 22 kW unit will not charge it faster.

AC Charging Cables

We find that a 5-metre cable is sufficient in most cases: it is ideal if the distance between the vehicle's charging socket and the wall does not exceed 3-4 metres when parked. If your garage or car park layout is different, 7.5 m and 10 m options are available. The longer the cable, the heavier and stiffer it is; choosing an unnecessarily long cable makes it harder to handle.

Type 1 (SAE J1772) is used in North American and older Asian vehicles and supports single-phase charging up to 7.4 kW. Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) is the European standard and supports three-phase charging up to 22 kW. Almost all new EVs on the Turkish market use Type 2. Older versions of the Tesla Model S/X used Type 1; new Teslas are Type 2.

16A cables handle up to 3.7 kW single-phase and 11 kW three-phase. 32A cables are rated for 7.4 kW single-phase and 22 kW three-phase. Choose the cable according to the highest current your wallbox or vehicle can draw; if the cable is the bottleneck, charging speed drops.

Because the connector type is standardised (Type 2 across virtually the entire European market), cable selection is brand-independent. The only difference is each vehicle's AC charging acceptance: if you buy a 22 kW cable for a vehicle that accepts 11 kW, no extra power flows; you simply have a safety margin.

Yes, a three-phase cable also supports single-phase charging. If your vehicle is single-phase, the cable automatically operates in single-phase mode and is limited to 7.4 kW. A three-phase cable saves you from replacing it if you buy a three-phase vehicle in the future.

Bemis E-V Charge manufactures its electric car charging cables at its own 16,000 m² facility in the Bursa Organised Industrial Zone. It builds on the heritage of Bemis Teknik Elektrik dating back to 1994; its Type 2 (Mode 3) cables are CE certified. The cables are not imported and relabelled; they are made in our own facility.

Bemis E-V Charge charging cables are manufactured in Türkiye, at our own facility in Bursa. This gives you direct access to the product, spare parts and technical support from the manufacturer; for project-based orders, cable length and socket colour can be customised on request.

A charging cable has a socket at both ends (Type 2 – Type 2); it connects a wall-mounted charging station or a unit in a shared area to your vehicle. A charging set (Mode 2) is a portable solution with a mains plug at one end and a control box in the middle; it lets you charge directly from a socket without a separate charging station. If you have a wall-mounted unit at home, a charging cable is the right choice; if you need a solution on the road or as a backup, a charging set is suitable.

A cable cannot deliver a speed higher than the current it is rated for; what actually determines charging speed is your vehicle's on-board AC charger. For example, if your vehicle is limited to 7.4 kW, fitting a three-phase 32A cable will not make it faster. Conversely, a low-capacity cable limits the speed: a single-phase 16A cable carries up to 3.7 kW, single-phase 32A up to 7.4 kW and three-phase 32A up to 22 kW. The right choice is the cable that matches the highest value supported by both your vehicle and your charger.

Our products are covered by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Do not open or attempt to repair the cable yourself; unplug it and stop using it. Contact the authorised dealer you purchased it from, or reach us by following the steps on the Support page under the Guide menu of our website. The product code, proof of purchase and a photo or video showing the problem speed up the process.

V2L / C2L Adapters

V2L lets you use your vehicle's battery as a portable power source. The adapter plugs into the vehicle's charging socket and provides a standard 220V output. During camping, outdoor events or power outages you can run a refrigerator, a projector or small appliances. The energy comes from the vehicle's battery.

A C2L adapter converts the electricity drawn from the Type 2 socket of an AC charging station into a standard Schuko (household) or CEE (industrial) socket. A Type 2 charging point can then be used not only for vehicle charging but also as a 220V/380V outlet for a workshop, an event area or a temporary installation. The energy comes from the charging unit, not from your vehicle's battery.

The only difference is where the energy comes from: V2L takes energy FROM THE VEHICLE (the vehicle's battery is the source); your car becomes a mobile power source. C2L takes energy FROM THE CHARGING UNIT (a Type 2 charger is the source); it turns a charging point into a conventional socket. They serve different purposes; with the Combi Set you get both adapters in a single package.

Vehicles such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5/6, Kia EV6/EV9, Genesis GV60, Ssangyong (KGM) Torres EVX, MG ZS EV / MG4, BYD Atto 3 / Seal / Han and Skywell ET5 support V2L from the factory. Our Bemis V2L adapters are made to match these manufacturers' socket pin layouts. When choosing the product, select the variant that fits your vehicle (Hyundai/Kia/Ssangyong, MG, BYD/Skywell, Ford Explorer, Volvo EX30). Tesla vehicles do not support it as standard.

It depends on the vehicle's V2L output. Most Hyundai/Kia models deliver 3.6 kW (16A), BYD and MG models 2.2 kW (10A), and some newer models go up to 7.2 kW. Our Bemis V2L adapters transfer the vehicle's output power safely and never exceed your vehicle's limit. Single, double and triple-socket versions share the same total power.

No. V2L is a mode of use intended by the manufacturer; the battery management system (BMS) controls the depth of discharge. Most vehicles automatically switch off V2L mode when the battery level drops to 20%. Regular use does not affect battery life.

Converter Adapters & Extension Cables

Our Bemis extension cables are manufactured to the same standards as the original cable (IEC 60309, 32A copper conductors). IP44-rated connection sections are protected against splashing water. Low-quality third-party extensions can pose a fire risk; use only certified products.

An extension is used when the vehicle is parked far from the wall where the wallbox is installed, when the car park entrance area is long, or when the load point is far away in mobile settings such as camping. If your standard 5 m cable is sufficient, an additional extension is unnecessary; every connection point is an additional point of vulnerability.

Yes. We offer adapters for common conversions such as Type 1 to Type 2, CEE socket to Type 2, and Type 2 to Schuko. However, there is no conversion between DC and AC; each system works separately. Converters take the power limit of the lower-rated side.

The total cable length (original + extension) should not exceed 15 metres for 22 kW single-phase or 25 metres for 11 kW three-phase. Over longer distances, power drops and heating increases due to cable resistance. For installations that require long distances, fixed wiring is recommended.

For home charging, the Schuko (standard Turkish socket), the 16A industrial blue CEE socket and the 32A red three-phase CEE socket are common. At public AC points, Type 2 is the standard. In DC fast charging, CCS2 (the most common) and CHAdeMO (Nissan/older vehicles) are found.

AC & DC Charging Unit Equipment

It includes the professional equipment used in charging station installations: AC and DC charging sockets (Type 2, CCS2), tethered and socketed versions, socket covers, locking mechanisms, optional communication modules and spare parts that can be integrated into a charger. It is used by OEM manufacturers and service providers.

AC sockets (Type 2) carry alternating current up to a maximum of 22 kW and have a simple construction. DC sockets (CCS2) carry 50-350 kW of direct current and contain liquid cooling, temperature sensors and thicker conductors. DC sockets are 3-4 times heavier and require special installation.

A transformer connection or sufficient subscribed power, chargers supporting OCPP 1.6J/2.0.1, CPO software for billing and management, and an EPDK licence or a dealer agreement are required. Our Bemis B2B team supports product selection and hardware supply; installation and commissioning are the buyer's responsibility and are carried out in line with the Bemis Installation Procedures.

Combined Charging System 2 (CCS2) is the DC fast-charging standard of the European market. It is a combined design that adds two extra DC pins below the Type 2 AC connector, so both AC and DC charging can be done through the same vehicle socket. It supports power between 50 and 350 kW.

Yes. The cables and sockets of our Bemis chargers are modular in design; in the event of wear or damage, our authorised service can replace them quickly. We keep stock of special parts such as liquid-cooled CCS2 cables.

Accessories

An RFID card provides user authorisation at the charging station: nobody you have not authorised can use the unit. In corporate/workplace installations it is used to track who charged which vehicle and how much. On OCPP-enabled stations the mobile app can do the same job.

Carrying a mobile charger loose in the boot damages both the cable and the vehicle's interior trim. The bag insulates against moisture, protects the plugs from being crushed and provides practical handling while travelling. The bag is standard with our Pro Mobile products and may be optional with others.

Because the connector standards (Type 2, CCS2, RFID Mifare) are universal, our Bemis accessories are compatible with all electric vehicles and charging stations that use standard Type 2 / CCS2 connectors. Any brand-specific features (firmware lock, proprietary card system) are stated in the documentation.

You can send a request with the product code directly through the contact form, and our sales team will refer you to a dealer. For operators placing bulk orders, integrated ordering via API through an OEM account is possible. Parts not in stock are supplied within 2-4 weeks.

A lost card can be deactivated from the admin panel or by notifying our sales team. Pairing a new card takes 5 minutes. The risk of unauthorised use with a lost card is negligible, because every card is linked to the unit's registration system.

DC Charging Units

In AC charging, electricity goes to the vehicle as alternating current and the on-board converter turns it into direct current; this is why it is limited to 22 kW. In DC charging, the conversion takes place inside the station and direct current flows straight into the battery; it can reach 50-350 kW. The result: with DC an EV reaches 80% in 20-40 minutes, whereas AC takes 6-8 hours.

The BEVDC-40 has a single socket and delivers 40 kW to one vehicle. The BEVDC-80, BEVDC-120, BEVDC-160, BEVDC-180 and BEVDC-200 have two sockets; the total power can be shared simultaneously between two vehicles. For example, the BEVDC-200 can deliver 100 kW to two vehicles at once, or 200 kW to a single vehicle (if the vehicle supports it).

DC units need a 3-phase 380-480 V grid connection. For the 120 kW and higher models the existing supply capacity is often not enough, so a transformer or a capacity upgrade may be required. You also need a fixed mounting base, enough airflow for cooling and an Ethernet or 4G line for OCPP communication. Installation and commissioning are the buyer's responsibility and are carried out by a licensed electrician in line with the Bemis Installation Procedures; commissioning can optionally be purchased from Bemis as a paid service.

If your fleet vehicles have 50-60 kWh batteries on average and operate in the city, BEVDC-40 is usually enough. For long-distance commercial fleets, or taxis and couriers that need a quick turnaround, BEVDC-120 stands out; depending on the vehicle's charging acceptance, 80% can be reached in roughly half an hour. For busy public stations BEVDC-160/200 is recommended, charging two vehicles fast at the same time.

In Türkiye, offering a public charging service requires a charging service licence from EPDK (the energy regulator) or working with a licensed charging network operator. The station has to be connected to the operator's software via OCPP; the BEVDC series supports OCPP 1.6J. The investment depends on the model, the need for a transformer and the groundwork, and is clarified during the licensed electrician's site survey.
